Following the announcement of Shadow at the Sonic Central presentation, Netflix confirmed that another fan favorite character would appear in their forthcoming Sonic Prime animated program.
Enter Big the Cat
Big The Cat, who appears in the following teaser as Sonic actually stumbles into him on his way to rescue his buddies, is the new character. Surprisingly, this new teaser looks to be part of the same scenario as the initial Sonic Prime Netflix teaser, which was released some time ago.
About Sonic Prime
Sonic Prime is billed as a “high-octane adventure” that follows Sonic and his quest to preserve a “strange new multiverse.” As a mysterious twist propels Sonic into a new adventure in which the destiny of the Universe is in his hands, Sonic must now not only race to rescue the universe from Dr. Eggman, but also save his pals, whom he has taken for granted up to this point. A “journey of self-discovery and atonement” is also stated for the program.
As a result, the program will take place in the same surroundings as the Sonic games and will star Modern Sonic.
