Niantic, the company behind Pokemon GO and Pikmin Bloom, has stated that both games would be suspended in Russia and Belarus. Niantic has blocked all of its games from download in Russia and Belarus, as stated on Twitter, with intentions to halt gaming as well. This is in reaction to the continuing crisis between Ukraine and Russia.
We stand with the global community in hoping for peace and a rapid resolution to the violence and suffering in Ukraine. Niantic’s games are no longer available for download in Russia and Belarus, and gameplay will also be suspended there shortly.
