NPD Media Group has announced that the Nintendo Switch during the holidays was the best-selling console in the United States, with 1.5 million copies.
This puts the counter after 10 months at 4.8 million in the US, making it the fastest selling console in that time frame. Just as in Germany.
A great achievement, especially with the recent launch of the Xbox One X. This is only close second, with 1:36 million. Noteworthy are also the figures of the Nintendo 3DS: 750,000 copies and keeping in mind it’s adying handheld it is it’s best month since December 2014. In addition, it sells 27% over the same month in 2016. Unique for a device that is on the market almost 7 years.
