The October sales in the US have been published and Nintendo is doing incredibly well!
Every month we get the figures for sales in the United States. Last month, Nintendo already did it very positive, but did not dominate the software list yet.
In October, Nintendo single handedly seems to dominate the market. In hardware the best selling was the Nintendo Switch, followed by the SNES Classic Mini. With the Nintendo 3DS family this accounted for two thirds of total hardware sales in America.
Games
Also in the software field Nintendo is doing extremely well this month, Super Mario Odyssey took the first place. Well that was too be expected right? BUT NOTE, this is while the game was available for only three days in October.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are still doing very well, they were in tenth and eleventh place respectively.
All this resulted in numbers of more then one million units of hardware in this month and that means for a first time since 2011. This is a very excellent performance, especially when you realize that Nintendo has sold two-thirds of all.
