Niantic, the developers behind the popular augmented reality mobile title Pokemon GO, is now worth around $4 billion.
Net worth
The company recently raised $200 million via venture capital. Pokemon GO still remains popular with those who have downloaded it and as Polygon points out is still among one of the top 200 apps (by downloads) in the United States.
However, it is no longer dominating the game charts but does well in the grossing charts.
New project
Niantic’s next project is Harry Potter: Wizards Unite which will be available on mobile devices next year. Let’s hope it will be as magical as Pokemon Go has been for the company.
