The Pokemon Company released a new update for Pokemon HOME on Nintendo Switch. The update brings the app up to Version 1.4, and adds new features such as the model viewer and the catch calendar.
The calendar allows players to view details about when they captured their Pokemon.
What’s New in Version 1.4.0
- Pokédex features have been expanded, allowing you to view Pokémon’s appearances from various angles.
Note: This feature does not apply to certain forms of Pokémon. - The Catch Calendar feature has been added to the main menu, allowing you to view your Pokémon in order of the dates on which they were caught.
- New icons for user profiles have been added.
- Announcement display has been improved.
- Other issues have also been addressed in order to ensure a user-friendly experience.
Gigantamax Pokemon
To celebrate the release of this update, players can log into the app’s Mystery Gift feature to receive a Bulbasaur and Squirtle that will be able to Gigantamax once fully evolved.
In addition, players will also be able to receive a Gigantamax factor Bulbasaur and Squirtle in Pokemon Sword And Shield, separate from the gifts in Pokemon HOME. They can be received by opening the Mystery Gift menu in Pokemon Sword And Shield, and selecting “Get Via Internet”.
