Fans of Rick May – the voice behind Peppy Hare and Andross in Star Fox 64 – we have some sad news regretfully. May sadly passed away after contracting the COVID-19 coronavirus, while he was still rehabilitating from a stroke at a nursing home.
This information was relayed by Rekindle School – an independent arts/film/acting institution where May worked as a teacher in the past few years.

Besides Peppy and Andross, May also voiced the Soldier from Team Fortress II and various smaller roles in other games and films.
Our deepest condolences go out to May’s family and loved ones in this time of need. We as a gaming community shall always appreciate the wonderful contributions you have given us.
