The news that Tatsumi Kimishima will withdraw as president of Nintendo is not the only major change in role announced for Nintendo. Satoru Shibata, the president of Nintendo of Europe, will also resign.
New president Nintendo of Europe
Nintendo confirms that Shibata will continue to operate within the company and become a director. In a sense, this is a promotion for Shibata, because he will now have a larger executive role.
Unlike Kimishima, it is not clear at the moment who will take over the role of Shibata.
What we do know is that we now have to miss Shibata from new Nintendo Directs and other Nintendo-related announcements for Europe.
We ask ourselves two things;

2 – Who will replace Satoru and become the new face of Nintendo of Europe?
