We are roughly one month after SXSW 2020 was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic things have not seen any improvement.
For SEGA, they announced last month that their SXSW Sonic announcements would be in “an all new format”, and it would be happening in April. Well, it is now April, and that is no longer going to be the case.
SXSW content delayed
Hi everyone – we know delays are way past not cool. But with the world in its current state, and to keep our teams safe, we need to wait to show you our SXSW content until things have settled.

The official Sonic Twitter announced that “with the world in its current state, and to keep our teams safe, we need to wait to show you our SXSW content until things have settled.
So who knows whenever we will hear back from them. Which still feels kind of weird. It’s content they already have right?
