SEGA earlier announced the production of Sonic Prime – an upcoming Netflix animated series that will see Sonic the Hedgehog saving the multiverse. Sonic Prime is slated to air in 2022.
Fans have found concept art online from the ArtStation page of visual development/environmental artist Patrick Horan. Who has since then taken down the images.

These are concept pieces I painted for the Netflix Series Sonic Prime. I was responsible for cleaning up the layouts and color. Character posing and design provided.
The concept artwork shows a minor redesign for Sonic, who is now sporting a set of new gloves and shoes. But the concept art did not stop there, as it showed alternate versions of familiar friends and foes.
Including the likes of Amy Rose, Tails and Eggman at different ages!
