Not to be outdone by the success of Nintendo’s NES Classic and SNES Classic, Sony has announced that its been busy creating the PlayStation Classic.

The mini Playstation One (PSX) comes pre-loaded with 20 classic titles, including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms. The item will ship on the 3rd of December in the United Kingdom and costs £89.99.

In all fairness we saw Sony copying this strategy as soon as it was clear that both the Nintendo Classic Mini and Super Nintendo Classic Mini where selling like hotcakes. And while we are conflicted with how we feel, we don’t blame them. We might even just get one for nostalgic purposes.
Because that’s what it is mostly about, we have the two Nintendo ones … and they have become decorative ornaments more then anything else.
