Yoshinori Ono is leaving Capcom

Legendary Capcom developer Yoshinori Ono announced he is leaving Capcom. He’s been at the company for almost 30 years and is set to leave the company this summer.

Rumors swirled regarding the direction of the Street Fighter franchise for a while now, and while Mr. Ono doesn’t give a definitive reason for leaving the company, it’s thought that him leaving is related to that.

About Yoshinori Ono

Yoshinori Ono is a Japanese video game producer and former sound producer and composer for Capcom. He has acted as (executive) producer on the Street Fighter franchise since 1998.
