Nintendo fans in Japan are mourning the “death” of the Nintendo 3DS, as the system seems to have been completely abandoned by publishers and developers in the year 2020.
As of July 27th, 2020, there were no new games released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2020.
The last of an era
- The last digital title, Dragon Fang Z, was released on December 23, 2019.
- The last physical title, Great War: East Asia Rise And Falls History DX, was released on May 23, 2019.
Not the best way to go out but the Nintendo 3DS has had a nice lifespan ranging from February 2011 in Japan and March 2011 for the rest of the world. Time to close the lid….
If only the Nintendo Switch can also stay for that long.
