Nintendo published their consolidated financial results for the six months ending September 30th 2021, revealing updated sales numbers for hardware and software.
Hardware
According to the report, the Nintendo Switch sold around 92.87 million units worldwide as of September 30th 2021. 8.28 million of these Nintendo Switch units were sold over the last six months leading up to September 30th.
This brings the console closer to the Wii’s lifetime sales, which sit at 101.63 million.
Software
As for software, Nintendo sold 93.89 units of software over the past six months, bringing the total up to 681 million units.
