AK-xolotl is coming

AK-xolotl, a top-down roguelite, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, the game’s developer says. An exact date hasn’t been revealed yet.

About AK-xolotl

AK-xolotl is a top-down roguelite that has the cutest amphibian in it. Your next meal is an axolotl that has an AK and goes on a killing spree.

Make your way through the ecosystem and show which animal is the real apex predator, then! Procedurally generated biomes and handcrafted room layouts are used to make several maps that combine the best of both worlds. You’ll progress through several maps that combine the best of both worlds.

Key features

• Hunt and destroy your prey with a wide range of weapons: melee, close-range, long-range, and so on. You can choose how you want to play.
• This is what axolotl’s meal is going to look like: it’s going to be a buffet.
• With the ingredients you get from hunting, you can make delicious recipes and become even more powerful.
• Build and decorate your own pond, and then make new things to decorate it! The best place for your axolotl to live is where it should be.
• There are a lot of different power-ups you can get for your Axolotl. You already have guns, but why not add some extra abilities that not only make you stronger but also add variety to the game?
• Different types of biomes and different times of the day: You can see carnage on the pond in different settings and at different times of the day.
• You can pet and care for baby axolotls to make them cute, then you can play with them. Make sure they get enough food and care. Then, watch them grow! Finally, take them with you on your hunting trips.
• Because high scores only really matter if you can show off your achievements!
• 3 more game modes for a little bite-sized fun: It’s time for a break from the main hunt. Take a break from work and play a quick and fun game of shooting with friends. Pond King, Horde, and Chrono are all games that you can play alone or with up to four other people.

AK-xolotl will be sold on the Nintendo Switch eShop. It will be able to be played online.
