The new version of Among Us, 2022.10.18, is now available. There are a few things to look forward to, such as a free VR cosmetic drop that will be coming soon. Both the Skeld and the MIRA HQ are now decorated for Halloween, and your pet Chewie now matches your color. There’s more here, like fixes for bugs, of course.

- The free VR Visor cosmetic will drop soon! We’re all very excited about the new Among Us VR news: the game will be available on Meta Quest and Steam VR on November 10, 2022! To celebrate, we’re giving away a free VR Visor cosmetic from November 1 to November 30, 2022. Make sure to get it before it’s gone! Be careful not to meet an impostor while you’re wearing one…
- Halloween Cosmicubes are back in the store, but is this a trick? Perhaps a treat? Get yours before October 31, 2022.
- The Skeld and MIRA HQ are now all decked out for Halloween. Have fun!
- Features
- Your pet Chewie is now the same color as your Crewmate. Yay more flavor!
- When an Emergency Meeting is called, the map now shows your last location instead of where the meeting is.
- Screen Shake options were added for platforms other than the PC
- In an effort to stop reports of toxic behavior caused by custom lobby names, they are now randomly generated. We are also working hard to make game filters and improve our reporting so that you can play the games you want. Please be patient as we work to make the game better.
- Bug Fixes
- We’ve been working hard to fix some bugs, so if you’ve been having trouble with your Child Account, please update your game. Please contact us at our Help Desk if an update doesn’t help.
- Made it easier to see the Kick/Ban buttons in the lobby and during meetings when a player clicks “Play Again.”
- Fixed a bug that made it so the Friends List – Request Permission button in the Blocked Players tab couldn’t be used.
- Players can now see how much of a Cosmicube has been completed.
- A controller can now be used to choose the “Manage Account” link.
Everyone who plays Among Us on Nintendo Switch can now download the version 2022.10.18 update.
