Nintendo announced the next free update coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons after the November update.
As announced at the end of the November Update presentation, the next free update for New Horizons will arrive in Late January and will add content related to the Festivale Event, which features the special character Pavé.
About Pavé
Pavé is a peacock character that appears in City Folk and New Leaf. His name may originate from the word pavão, which is Portuguese for peacock. He appears on the day of Festivale’s as its special character.
He speaks in third person and he occasionally makes comments about the town environment as part of the citizen satisfaction committee.
While currently absent from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pavé appears in a graphic teasing a January update for the game so we are really expecting him to show up.
Pavé’s role in previous Animal Crossing games offers a hint as to what he’ll do in New Horizons. Festivale occurs in either February or March, depending on the year.
