In the new free update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons more things where added besides adding a new Festivale event.
Nintendo released a preview of new seasonal items that will be added with the free update. First up – to celebrate the Japanese tradition of Setsubun, the Bean-Tossing Kit will be available until February 3, and the Ogre costume will appear at Able Sisters starting on February 1.
New Seasonal items
Two new Valentine’s Day items will be available from February 1 to February 14 as well. These are the Chocolate Heart & Rose Bouquet Heart (rough translations).
In addition to this, a Cheering Megaphone & American Football Rug (rough translations) will be available for purchase from January 15 to February 15 to celebrate the Super Bowl season in the west.
Also a “Groundhog Model” (rough translation) of Resetti will be available from January 25 to February 2 to celebrate Groundhog Day.
And both the Korean New Year Pouch and Chinese New Year Envelope (rough translations) will be available for purchase from February 10 to February 17.
As always, most of these items will be available under the “Seasonal Items” tab in the Nook Shopping menu once the update arrives later this week.
