During the recent Animal Crossing: New Horizons direct, fans noticed the return of an iconic piece of furniture that was missing from the original release of the game; the Froggy Chair.
Froggy Chair is a cute chair with a frog themed design that was featured in every previous Animal Crossing game prior to New Horizons. The chair can be seen at several points in the trailer for the Version 2.0 update, confirming that players will once again be able to obtain it when the update drops.
The Froggy Chair
For those unfamiliar, the Froggy Chair is a quirky furniture item resembling a frog seen in all past Animal Crossing games prior to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It’s nothing special, but when a player sits on it, the item makes a squishing sound almost resembling a fart — similar to the Whoopee Cushion added in an update for April Fool’s Day.
Customizing?
Presumably, there are even more colors beyond that in store, but we’ll just have to wait until November 5th when the Version 2.0 Update releases to find out for sure. For the record, purple and red versions were also available in New Leaf.
