Animal Crossing: New Horizons received a new 2.0.5 update from Nintendo. In addition to correcting difficulties in the core game, issues in the Happy Home Paradise DLC have also been addressed.

  • Issues that have been resolved
    • After travelling to another island, the player was unable to advance through the exposition regarding Photopia under certain scenarios.
    • Fixed an issue where the game would freeze once a message appeared after a discussion began and a large number of furniture pieces were put on the island.
    • Luna would keep repeating the description for the “Search by island name.” option. This has been fixed.
    • Fixed a problem when island people wore bespoke designs with a different pattern type than what was presented in the tailor shop.
    • After using the Room Sketch app, the Happy House Network app, or the Custom Designs Portal during the visit, an island inhabitant visiting a player’s home would stay in the player’s home.
    • Fixed an issue where a player might utilize a door decoration while rebuilding an island resident’s house, but the decoration would disappear as a new day began.
    • Other tweaks and fixes were done to enhance the game’s overall experience.
  • DLC-related issues have been resolved.
    • If the player earlier released an ant or fly in the yard of that vacation house when the requirements for ants or flies to arrive were not satisfied, the player could not continue beyond the loading screen while attempting to revisit that vacation home.
    • If the player stopped the program at a specified moment while working on a facility, future events would not continue correctly.
    • Other tweaks and fixes were done to enhance the game’s overall experience.
