Yuji Naka’s Balan Wonderworld has been met with middling reception and was even plagued by an epilepsy-inducing bug.
And if all of that wasn’t enough, it looks like the game is now facing further scrutiny from players due to part of its soundtrack as well. This time is the main track of Balan Wonderworld‘s Chapter 11, which delves into a firefighter’s struggles.
According to several people online, this song sounds way too similar to another tune from the original Ghostbusters motion picture score – right down to it’s progression and beats.

While it not being one to one … it’s a way too uncanny likeness, so much even so you might just say it’s copyright infringement. And with all the heat this game is being given (and fairly so I might add) this might just be enough to end any further interest from the likes of Square Enix to do anything with the Balan IP in the future.
