Best-selling home console ever with 103.5+ million units sold

Nintendo released its financial statistics for the first nine months of fiscal year 2021, which concluded on December 31st.

Since the console’s introduction in March 2017, the Kyoto-based business has sold 103.54 million Nintendo Switch consoles, according to its financial figures. This means that global sales of the Nintendo Switch have overtaken those of the wildly successful Wii system, making the Nintendo Switch the best-selling Nintendo home console ever. The Wii was released in 2006 and has sold 101.63 million units worldwide. Nintendo, on the other hand, only sold 18.95 million Nintendo Switch units in the nine months, down 21.4 percent from the previous year.
