The Game Kitchen announced a new major patch and free DLC for Blasphemous coming in early 2020.
The major patch (dubbed “Patch 2”) is currently available for PC, and is expected to hit consoles “sometime during the new year”.
What does Patch 2 do?
Well it looks into a lot. A short list of all the areas it looks into;

The developers also confirmed Blasphemous will receive free DLC in “early 2020”. Not much else was revealed about what this DLC would contain, but they did share the above teaser image showing off a new character.
