1.0.2 patch notes

  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
    • The game’s EX Settings now have a “Gem Colors” option. You can choose from the original set of colors for gems or up to six other sets.
  • Hyper Street Fighter II
    • The game’s EX Settings now have a “Difficulty Table” option. You can choose between an AI opponent difficulty table based on the English version or the Japanese version.
    • Display Filter/Display Size: “Type H” has been added to the list of options for the display filter. You can also now see a preview of the game screen when changing the filter and size of the screen.
    • The gallery now has something called “Shuffled Slideshow.”
    • Bug Fix
      • Darkstalkers Phobos: Fixed a bug where killing an opponent with Circuit Scrapper didn’t always lead to a victory pose. (This was a mistake in the first game.)
    • Bug Fix
    • Vampire Savior / Vampire Hunter 2 / Vampire Savior 2
    • Fixed a bug where selecting TURBO would set the speed to NORMAL even when the speed select option was set to “Free Select” options 1 through 3.
  • Super Gem Fighter
    • When the speed select option was set to “Free Select,” the game speed was always set to 1 no matter what choice was made. This has been fixed.
    • Bug Fix
      • In the Nintendo SwitchTM version, a bug that kept players from seeing the leaderboards has been fixed.
    • Searches for Casual and Ranked Matches
    • When only one game is chosen in a standby search, it is now easier to find opponents.
    • Lobby Searches to Fit Your Needs
    • Now, matches that are happening in a lobby will show up in the search results. If you try to join one of these lobbies, you’ll see a message that says “Waiting,” and you’ll be able to join as soon as the current game is over and the players return to the lobby.
    • Fixed a bug that happened by accident when you rolled back.
    • Matches for fun and for points
    • You can now cancel a match even if you chose “Yes” when asked if you wanted to play. Also, if you leave a match, you will be asked later if you want to come back to standby.
    • You can now use a player’s color to figure out how slow they are. The color of the line below the game’s title shows how to match with opponents for both casual and ranked games. This is shown by the color of the player’s order number in the lobby for a custom match. On either of these two screens, you can now also change how long it takes for your input to be processed.
    • Color Code
      • Blue: Less than 30 ms
      • Green – 31 – 60 ms
      • Yellow: 61 to 90 ms
      • Orange: 91 – 160 ms
      • Red: More than 161 ms
    • In casual and ranked matches, you can now play up to 10 rematches (up from 3).
    • During matches, each player’s online ID now shows up on the screen.
    • The training options now include a “Hit Boxes” display setting. If this setting is turned on, hit boxes for characters and effects will be shown.
  • Red Earth, Hyper Street Fighter II, and Super Gem Fighter
    • Now, stun data is also shown on the screen for training mode, where it used to only show attack data.
  • Vampire Savior / Vampire Hunter 2 / Vampire Savior 2
    • In training mode, you can now choose “Dark Force.” You can choose to act normally or use an infinite amount of Dark Force.
  • Vampire Savior / Vampire Savior 2
    • In training mode, you can now choose to watch a “Gloomy Puppet Show.” You can choose for the move to act normally (randomly), or you can lock it to one of 6 different patterns.
  • Super Gem Fighter
    • In training mode, you can now choose “Gem Level.” You can let any gem act normally or lock it to a level from 1 to 3.
  • Red Planet
    • In training mode, you can now choose “Character Level.”
    • Both of the bonus stages have been added to the boss training mode stage select.
    • In training mode, there is now a “Mystic Orb” option that lets you choose as many orbs of a single element as you want.
    • If you try to restart the game while moving to the left or right, you will now start over at the edge of the screen.
    • Training
      • When the match starts over, the pre-match intro no longer plays.
  • Hyper Street Fighter II
    • The background design of the “JAPAN(E.Honda)” stage by E. Honda has been changed.
    • Other small bugs have also been fixed.
