Capcom has announced via its financial results that both of its current Nintendo Switch titles have performed to the company’s expectations.
Those games are Monster Hunter XX and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers which the company claims “enjoyed hit status”.
What can Capcom expect next?
Keep in mind that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers was not the biggest of hits due to the not so popular Way of the Hado and it just being one reincarnation of Street Fighter. Surely Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will sell miles better then it’s predecessor.
On a whole other front, Capcom will release multiple Mega Man collections for among others the Nintendo Switch which will surely do well.
Now let’s just hope this pushes Capcom’s hand in porting some more major / current gen titles to the Nintendo Switch where at all possible.
