During a recent livestream, FuRyu finally revealed some gameplay from the Switch version of Cardfight!! Vanguard EX!
The video showcases a full match with a trial deck in action. The videogame adaptation will follow the same rules as the wildly popular TCG, and support more recent mechanics such as Imaginary Gifts.
A story mode will also feature main character Aichi alongside a new protagonist, Izuru Shidou.

A New Vanguard Izuru Shidou Appears! – In addition to familiar characters like Aichi and company, game-original character Izuru Shidou will also appear! Build a new Vanguard world!
A Story Created Specifically for the Game! – The story is under the compete supervision of original creator Akira Itou and Bushiroad. It is an original story you can only experience through the game!
Fight
Play with the same rules as the Vanguard card game. Playable by first-time fighters and experienced fighters alike!
Imaginary Gifts are also supported! As is Standard regulation.
Cardfight!! Vanguard EX will be hitting Nintendo Switch in Japan during Fall 2019. For now, there seem to be no plans for a western localization of the title.
