The Australian Classification board published an interesting rating for an unannounced title as a rating has been published for a Castlevania Advance Collection which will be “multi platform”.
The name seems to suggest that it likely is a collection of Castlevania games that were released on Gameboy Advance, possibly including Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.
About Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Save your mentor from the evil clutches of Dracula!
Count Dracula has resurrected once more, and he seeks his vengence on those who oppose him. As Nathan Graves, you must storm Dracula’s castle to save your mentor, who will otherwise be used to restore Dracula to his full power. Battle the evil lord’s minions with your trusty whip, and gain experience points as well as other useful items and weapons.
Defeat bosses and gain special abilities that aid in exploring new areas of the castle. Use the Dual Set-Up System to combine action and attribute cards to create over 80 unique magic spells. Hours of monster-slaying action await you in five different game modes. Can you rid the world of Dracula’s evil once and for all?
About Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
It has been 50 years since Simon Belmont saved the land from the curse of Dracula. Now, Simon’s descendant Juste must venture into the count’s castle once more, to solve the mystery of a friend’s disappearance.
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance introduced the attack system Spell Fusion – combining spells and sub-weapons to create new attacks – and brought deeper RPG elements like levelling-up your character.
Of course, Juste wouldn’t be without his trusty Vampire Killer. Wield your whip as you explore the labyrinthine castle, and seek out the truth that lurks in the shadows.
About Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
In its third Game Boy Advance installment, Castlevania jumps into the future, to the year 2035. After a solar eclipse, new hero Soma Cruz awakens inside a mysterious castle. You must navigate the castle’s labyrinths while confronting perilous monsters at every turn.
Use Soma’s Tactical Soul system to collect souls of enemies to learn their abilities, and equip them to activate new powers – more than 100 in total. But beware: you must escape before evil consumes you. Once you’ve survived the horrors of the castle, extra modes and challenges await!
Should the rating prove legitimate, it’s rather likely that the collection will come to Switch, given that Castlevania Anniversary Collection is also present on the platform.
Now all I want is Symphony of the Night … but that is asking a lot I guess.
