Chocobo GP, an exciting kart racing experience rooted in the Chocobo world, is now available for Nintendo Switch via select stores and directly through My Nintendo Store, according to SQUARE ENIX.
Players may now race over mystical and chaotic courses featuring characters from the Chocobo and FINAL FANTASY franchises, such as Vivi and Steiner from FINAL FANTASY IX. Chocobo GP Lite is a demo version that allows players to experience thrilling courses from well-known Chocobo and FINAL FANTASY series locales in both local multiplayer and select online multiplayer modes.

Players may start enjoying all Chocobo GP has to offer right now, including:
- Multiple Game Types — Choose from a variety of game modes, such as “Story” and “Chocobo GP,” which includes thrilling bracket-style tournaments for up to 64 players.
- Thrilling Courses — Race through Chocobo and FINAL FANTASY-themed courses such as Cid’s Test Track, Alexandria and Zozo’s streets, and the Gold Saucer.
- Characters from FINAL FANTASY and Chocobo — Players may pick from a large roster of FINAL FANTASY and Chocobo characters from throughout the series, including characters from FINAL FANTASY VI, FINAL FANTASY IX, and more.
Within Chocobo GP mode, the game’s inaugural Season is in full swing. Players may boost their season level and win different prizes by playing in this mode. Additionally, players may spend 800 mythril on an optional Prize Pass (which allows access to an extra set of season prizes) or 2,400 mythril on an optional Premium Prize Pass (which grants access to an additional set of season rewards) (which instantly grants players 60 levels worth of season rewards).
A login bonus of 800 mythril / (equal to a Prize Pass) will be given to all players, enabling them to get FINAL FANTASY VII’s Cloud (available as a season level 60 Prize Pass reward) and swap Gil for FINAL FANTASY VIII’s Squall via the in-game Gil Shop.
