A Blizzard Entertainment representative told Business Insider that they are looking to eventually include cross-platform play to the forthcoming Diablo III on the Nintendo Switch.
Reasons
The reason behind it would be that owners of other platforms can hook up with their friends and play together whatever the situation.
While it won’t be ready at launch, it is something that the team is looking into at the moment.
It’s a question of when, not if.
Well to be fair, we don’t mind it not being available at launch if it at least is being considered, now are we people? But it is wonderful to see that Blizzard wants to make it a worthwhile Diablo III experience on the Nintendo Switch .
