Version 1.3.3 patch notes

  • Changed how the DLC completion percentage is calculated so that it better shows how far you’ve come in the DLC.
  • Fixed a bug that kept the DLC’s final boss from moving on to the next phase because it was stuck in a certain animation.
  • Fixed a bug that kept the Esther Winchester boss from moving on to the next phase because it got stuck in certain animations.
  • Fixed a rare bug that could cause the Sally Stageplay boss to get stuck in certain animations, making it impossible to move on to the next phase.
  • Fixed a bug that stopped boss title cards from showing up when the EU Spanish language was being used.
  • Changed the “Hearty” achievement so that it unlocks more often.

  • After beating the King Dice boss, the Soul Contract was showing up when it wasn’t supposed to.
  • Changed the rules for scoring the “HP” score on the result screen to make scoring more consistent and clear. The player’s HP score is now only based on how much HP they have left after a fight.
  • Fixed a rare bug that caused players to lose control of their controllers when they were in Porkrind’s Shop.
  • Fixed a bug that made Ms. Chalice’s Super Art II and Cuphead/Super Mugman’s Art II not work right after the final boss went from phase 1 to phase 2 at the end of the DLC.
  • Other wrong player states were fixed after the DLC final boss phase 1 to phase 2 change.
  • Fixed a bug that made Ms. Chalice stay active in levels even after the Astral Cookie charm was taken off in the equip menu after death.
  • Fixed a bug that let players still playing as Ms. Chalice equip and use other charms.
  • Fixed a bug that stopped Ms. Chalice’s jumping parry collision from working when she was close to the ground.

  • Fixed a bug in the fight against the King of Games Queen boss that let a cannonball appear after the player died.
  • Fixed a bug that made it so Player 2 couldn’t use Glumstone the Giant’s phase 1 ground spike gnomes.
  • Fixed a bug that made it so parrying pink moonshine barrel enemies in the Moonshine Mob boss didn’t count towards the “Parry” scoring category.
  • Fixed a bug that let players push Wally Warbles’ boss off the screen completely during Phase 3.
  • Fixed a rare bug that made it impossible to move forward in the DLC’s opening cutscene.
  • On the Inkwell Isle IV map, rare problems with character collisions have been fixed.
  • When a character comes back to the map after fighting a boss, they no longer crash into each other as often.
  • Fixed a rare bug that made it so HP didn’t carry over correctly between King Dice fights.
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes made objects you parried after beating a boss count toward your “Parry” score.
