About Cursed to Golf

The story goes that if you play through Golf Purgatory’s tricky courses, you’ll get back to the real world and, more importantly, the trophy you were about to win. Each course is run by a ghostly Legendary Caddie who will teach you the magical ways of golf to help you on your quest for redemption and revival.

Cursed to Golf takes the golfing and roguelike genres in a new direction. If you don’t make it through a hole within the PAR count, you’ll be sent back to the beginning of the course. In addition to bunkers and rough spots, these courses are full of crazy obstacles like high-powered fans, spikes, TNT boxes, teleporters, and a whole lot more. In this twist on the classic game, it’s all par for the course!

Even if you are cursed to play golf forever in Golf Purgatory, there are some good things about it. Use Birdie-Eye to see the whole course and what challenges are coming up. Par number getting low? Shot Idols made of gold and silver are scattered around the holes, and smashing them with a dramatic flourish will give you more shots. With your otherworldly powers, you can use Ace Cards to turn the odds back in your favor and change the game in amazing ways. Scattershot, U-Turn, Rocketball, and Mulligans are just a few of the more than 20 cards you can use to turn the tide in your favor.

Every shot is important!

Golf Purgatory has a golf-themed world and characters that you can get to know. It also has precise “golf-like” gameplay on a randomly-ordered course in four different environments. Find your way through tough dungeon-like holes with strange obstacles.

You can play golf in style with more than 20 different Ace Card power-ups. You can compete with people all over the world on online leaderboards. The 70+ holes will keep you swinging for a long time.

The Nintendo Switch eShop is where you can buy Cursed to Golf. It can be used by people who speak English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Korean, and simplified Chinese.
