About Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania

The 2D action gameplay that served as the game’s inspiration is brought back. This unusual partnership brings the famous characters and gothic backdrop from Castlevania together with the lightning-fast action of the award-winning roguelite game Dead Cells.

An impressive warrior by the name of Richter has approached you and asked for your assistance in destroying the formidable foe that resides inside the stunning castle that has materialized before you.

You go out across the gardens and halls of the gothic castle to discover and murder this unknown Dracula, but rather than being motivated by a feeling of moral obligation, you are enticed by the possibility of additional wealth.

Kill swarms of his otherworldly minions as you make your way through our largest piece of downloadable content to date, which has two new levels, three new monsters, and an all-new narrative.

Unlock 14 classic weapons to annihilate Dracula’s bestiary of creatures and ultimately the evil king himself, including the Vampire Killer, Throwing Axe, and Holy Water. The frenetic action of Dead Cells’ fighting has been adapted to accommodate each item while preserving the spirit of the items themselves.

Secret chambers. Flame-lit passageways. Desolate graveyards with tombs. Those are really stunning paintings. There is food concealed behind the walls. The character of the legendary castle will transport you into the realms of gothic fantasy since it is full with unique creatures from the series, such as harpies, werewolves, and haunting armors.

We are providing you with access to an alternate soundtrack that was created by compiling 51 of the songs from the original Castlevania game and can be played throughout the whole of the game. Yes, 51!

On top of this, we have chosen the 12 most classic tunes, such as Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, and Simon Belmont’s Theme, and reinterpreted them in the manner of Dead Cells as a soundtrack for this DLC. Of course, the Castlevania atmosphere has been kept intact throughout this process.

You will have Richter Belmont and Alucard at your side for the whole of your mission to defeat Dracula. They will assist you in navigating the labyrinthine corridors of Dracula’s Castle and provide you with powerful weaponry (sometimes willingly, sometimes not). On the other hand, remember that wherever there is good, there is also evil, and you should be on the lookout for formidable adversaries who will do all in their ability to prevent you from entering the royal chamber.

Fight against the very core of what it is to be evil in two furious duels against Death and Dracula, both of which take place against a gorgeous background. If you are able to make it through all of these challenges, you will be facing our most difficult boss fight to yet…

You will be able to roleplay as all of your favorite characters, including Alucard, Richter Belmont, Simon Belmont, Maria Renard, Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, and even Dracula himself, after you have unlocked all 20 clothes that are hidden around the castle.
