Dead Cells 1.19.1 patch notes

  • Balancing
    • The Dive Attack Fire affix now always activates, regardless of diving depth.
  • Visuals & UI
    • Aligned all synergy icons and included them to the item descriptions.
    • To avoid a text overlap, the controller warning on the Main Menu has been relocated.
    • Several “List Options” titles no longer overlap.
    • Eliminated a little arrow symbol from damage pop-ups while an attack bonus is enabled. It has been there for decades. We have no idea whether anybody has ever observed it. But we did.
  • Standard of living
    • The Auto-jump option no longer activates while mounting a ladder.
  • Bug fixes
    • After upgrading to version U29, the inability to crouch when using a controller has been fixed. This patch only stops the problem from occurring during game updates. If you are now experiencing this issue, restoring the controls to their default settings will resolve it.
    • Pollo Power no longer fails to trigger “after the effect stops” affixes.
    • The softlock while entering Ossuary with Pollo Power activated has been resolved.
    • There is no longer a softlock upon death in the Bank’s Challenge Room while Multiple Lives are engaged.
    • Fixed a softlock that occurred while dying to a Timekeeper when Multiple Lives was activated.
    • Fixed a fault that occurred when the game attempted to calculate synergy between nonexistent goods.
    • In Undying Shores, loading a save no longer causes a crash.
    • Fixed a problem that occurred while loading an old save on U29.
    • Fixed a fault that occurred while deactivating Crit Feedbacks from the main menu.
    • When restarting a saved game, the health of mobs and bosses is no longer reset to full.
    • The Scarecrow’s watering motion is no longer repeated whenever a saved game is restarted.
    • It is no longer possible for high-priority noises to be switched off without obvious cause.
    • The console no longer crashes when attempting to show “Glitched” items with an outline.
    • In many instances, the Shop Mimic would not consume its item at the beginning of a combat.
    • Fixed the Update Pop-up from appearing whenever a player begins a new run.

All Nintendo Switch gamers may now download the latest Dead Cells update.
