The team over at Digital Foundry have been playing through Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze on the Nintendo Switch and have explained how well the game performs on the system. They also compared it to the Wii U version of the game.

The results
The Digital Foundry team has confirmed that the game is 1080p when the Nintendo Switch is docked and 648p when the game is played in handheld mode. Thankfully the game runs at a buttery smooth 60fps and features improved lighting and sharper textures.
So yes we are more then hyped for this re-release to say the very least!
