Divinity: Original Sin 2 was released for Nintendo Switch, though some wondered whether the game will eventually support local co-op on the Nintendo Switch.
No plans
Unfortunately hopes for that have been bashed as the game’s developer has confirmed there are no plans for local co-op on Nintendo Switch.
He explained too many compromises will have to be made to get it to work, so it’s never going to happen:
We’d have to make too much compromises to get that to work fluently so I’m afraid not
