    • Performance is much better in worlds with a lot of boats.

  • Wanda Update
    • Here are her details
      • Wanda is a good clockmaker who will do anything to get away from her future.
      • Wanda’s timeline is broken, so she ages faster than the other survivors.
      • The health meter for Wanda has been changed to an age meter.
      • Wanda learns how to use shadow magic better as she gets older, and she depends on it to make up for her weakening strength.
      • Wanda is able to make pocket watches that:
      • Bring back her youth
      • Change her time and space
      • Return people who have died to the moment before they died. Cut holes in space and time.
      • Use shadow magic to fight back.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fix a problem with saving and loading that could cause items sent through a wormhole to disappear from the world.
    • Fixed a rare caves crash that happened when the world was being made.
    • Hallowed Nights + Quality of Life
  • Update on the quality of life!
    • The game can now be paused by server admins and local hosts.
    • The last 100 messages in chat are now saved between the character selection screen, the forest, and the caves.

  • Bug Fix: What’s New!
    • Fixed a bug that caused mods on the server and the client to become out of sync when a server was started with a bad connection to Steam.
    • Wigfrid would get inspiration twice when using ranged attacks. This bug has been fixed.
    • Wigfrid now figures out how much inspiration he needs based on how much damage he does. This means that her inspiration gain is now affected by buffs, debuffs, and electric damage. The target’s buffs and defensive states, like a hiding Slurtle, will also affect her inspiration gain. Note: The rate at which she gains inspiration has been changed to take into account the fact that she naturally does 25% more damage.
    • There was a problem with saving and loading the Fire Staff and Ice Staff projectiles.
    • The Winged Sail would not save or load its state when it was built on land. This bug has been fixed.
    • We fixed a bug that caused spider dens on boats to grow back when their decorations were taken away.
    • When lag compensation is turned on, the character no longer stuttered when getting on or off a boat.
    • We fixed a bug that slowed down creatures’ movement speed when they were in the water and couldn’t jump on a boat.
    • Fixed a bug that let the wardrobe give your character the skin of another character.
    • Slow-Down Rounds now work on the Celestial Champion’s second phase.
    • Fixed a bug that didn’t take into account whether or not the creature was dead when retargeting (while holding F).

    • We also made the resolution of a few older game pieces better.
  • Redesigning Wolfgang and Winter’s Feast
    • Here’s how it works:
      • Wolfgang’s forms are no longer directly tied to his hunger. Instead, they are now controlled by a new “Might Meter.”
      • Wolfgang has to work out with one of his new craftable items in order to fill the Might Meter.
      • The meter drains over time, and the rate is based on how hungry Wolfgang is. The hungrier he is, the faster the meter drains.
      • The linear values of Wolfgang are now constants.
      • Wolfgang freezes and overheats faster in Wimpy form than in Mighty.
      • When Mighty Wolfgang can move heavy things more quickly. He doesn’t lose strength when he carries heavy things.
      • Mighty Wolfgang is better at cutting wood, digging, and hammering.
      • Wolfgang is a better rower when Mighty is out there.
      • His speed doesn’t change anymore when he changes forms.
      • Wolfgang’s hunger and health are now capped at 200, no matter what form he is in.
      • Wolfgang’s level of sanity changes based on how many friends and enemies he is with.
      • When Mighty, it does more damage, and when Wimpy, it does less. Wimpy form also takes more damage.
      • Wolfgang can build a building called a Gym Station.
      • Player will have to go to the gym to get stronger.
      • Players can add different heavy things to the gym to change how it works.
      • As players work out, it eats up their hunger.
      • Wolfgang can make a Dumbbell item that can be used up and used to restore his Might on the go. It can be used as a weapon and doesn’t make you hungry.
  • The Catcoon Year:
    • During the event, Catcoon hairballs will come with a Red Pouch.

    • Fixed a problem with netbook mode when a server’s tick rate is changed.
  • March Update on QOL
    • Putting together menu items
      • Redesigned the Crafting user interface to make it easier for players to find the items they want. Instead of having each item in its own tab, players can now use a filter.
      • You can add recipes to a list of favorites.
      • Recipes can be stuck to the side of the screen so crafting can be done quickly.
      • Use the text search to find things by what they are called in your language.
      • The crafting menu can be made bigger or smaller independently of the rest of the HUD.
      • If a player uses a controller, they can:

  • Even more!
    • Refresh WX
    • Disconnected
      • After the wiring to their empathy module, which had been broken for a long time, is fixed, WX-78 suddenly remembers things they had hoped to forget.
    • WX-78 Changes
      • WX-78 can make circuits that can be put in place to give people special powers.
      • With the help of a Circuit Extractor, WX-78 can unplug their circuits. This is bad because it means that the circuits will lose any charge they had.
      • WX-78 learns how to build circuits by using their Bio Scanalyzer to look at living things.
      • Along with material from the scanned organic, the Bio Scanalyzer also makes Bio Data, which is used to make circuits.
      • The electrical charge meter runs the circuits on WX-78. The meter fills up again on its own over time, and it can also be filled up in other ways.
      • If WX-78 gets too wet, it starts to lose power. If they don’t have enough electricity, they start to get sick.
      • When WX-78 are hungry, they also lose electricity because they don’t have enough energy to keep their charge level up.
      • WX-78 can get back to health, sanity, and hunger by eating gears. If WX-78 dies, some of the gears they have eaten will fall off.
      • Clockworks aren’t as mean to WX-78 as they used to be.
      • Klei is also giving all Don’t Starve Together Switch players a special bonus for their patience in the form of nine mystery boxes from the different events that happened during these updates. These boxes contain a lot of new skins. The items are a random assortment of Curios like The Moth-Eaten Chest, Winter’s Feast Chest, Pugna’s War Chest, The Gnaw’s Chest, and Classic Curio Chest. Chest of Spring. Empty Chest, Trick or Treat Chest, and Terrarized Chest. By October 15, 2022, you must log in and get them.
      • Klei says, “It will take us a little more time to catch up to the other platforms, but we’re doing our best to get there.” At the moment, the studio plans for the next big update to come out between the end of October and the beginning of November, but this is not set in stone.

All Nintendo Switch users who play Don’t Starve Together can now get the new update.
