The PlayStation 4 version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 had a one year head start on the Nintendo Switch but that hasn’t stopped the version from outselling it in the long run.
The Nintendo Switch version has sold 110,217 copies and the PlayStation 4 version has sold 108,227 copies as of last week in Japan.
Best selling Dragon Ball Xenoverse?
Interestingly, it would appear as though Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on Nintendo Switch may soon beat the original Dragon Ball Xenoverse on the PlayStation 3.
This would make it the highest selling Dragon Ball home console game of all-time in Japan. And that for a country in which Dragon Ball has always been a household name, that is just impressive!
On a quick sidenote; The Nintendo Switch just keeps throwing out amazing records like it is nothing. We wonder where this momentum will take Nintendo in the upcoming year and years.
