EA recently held their financial conference call for the fourth quarter of the 2018 fiscal year.
There, Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen discussed what the company expects from console sales by the end of the 2018 calendar year. Jorgensen expects the combined install base of the Xbox One and Playstation 4 to “continue to be strong” and reach 130,000,000 units by the end of 2018.
Nintendo Switch install base estimate
As for the Nintendo Switch, Jorgensen says that EA is expecting the Switch to “have built an installed base of over 30 million by December 21st, 2018”.
Well … that is not a bad estimate … but will Nintendo make that? What do you guys think?
