About Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection

The Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is a compilation of the first three games in the series, which were first released on the Nintendo DS over a decade ago. It includes a multitude of quality-of-life improvements, such as difficulty selection, save slots, and easier access to the in-game monster compendium, quest log, and skill tree, in addition to new features such as newly remastered visuals and a remastered soundtrack. Other new features include the remastering of the game’s soundtrack.

Players will investigate the eventful origins of this role-playing game (RPG) brand in the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection, which includes remastered versions of three classic adventures. Explore uncharted dungeons, craft unique adventuring groups, and engage in strategic skirmishes as you set out on a quest of discovery.

Features

Newly restored visuals, a remixed music, and enhancements to the game’s overall quality of life, including a selectable difficulty level and more save spaces.

Nintendo Switch users now have access to touch screen mapping capability. Create a map of your journey through the labyrinth by sketching the walls and inserting symbols to keep track of the important events and stuff you encounter.

Complete support and capability for the mouse in the design of maps, navigation of menus, and exploration of dungeons (Steam).

The monster compendium, the task log, and the skill tree are all within easy reach.

Discover twenty-four brand new character pictures that were made just for this collection. These images include Landsknecht, War Magus, Sovereign, and many more.

The Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection may now be pre-ordered on the Nintendo Switch eShop, as can each individual game in the collection. Those who preorder the collection will get Character Portrait DLC Sets featuring well-known characters from various intellectual properties developed by Atlus, including:

  • Joker, sometimes known as Persona 5 Royal, and Ringo are included in the first Character Portrait DLC Set (Soul Hackers 2).
  • Demi-Fiend from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and Teddie are both a part of Character Portrait DLC Set 2, which may be purchased separately (Persona 4 Golden).
  • Aigis (Persona 3 Portable) and Nahobino are both included in the Character Portrait DLC Set 3 pack (Shin Megami Tensei V).
