Fate and TYPE-MOON fans are in for an amazing piece of news! TYPE-MOON Studio BB has revealed that a remake of Fate/EXTRA, titled Fate/EXTRA Record is currently under active development on the Unreal Engine!

The original Fate/EXTRA takes place in a similar setting to Fate/EXTELLA and Fate/EXTELLA LINK and chronologically before those two titles, although whether the plot will remain the same has yet to be revealed.TYPE-MOON Studio BB hasn’t specified the game’s release platforms apart from mentioning that it will be released “current generation platforms” on its website, although they have previously mentioned that they are planning on a game for the Nintendo Switch.
Along with the fact that the aforementioned Fate/EXTELLA and Fate/EXTELLA LINK are currently available on the Switch, we might be in for some good news!A
