Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash 2.2.0 update adds new netcode

Arika president Akira Nishitani said during the Fighting Game Roundtable 3 earlier that Fighting EX Layer: Another Dash would be receiving a 2.2.0 update on Nintendo Switch shortly, including “the next generation of netcode.”

The patch was released on April 1, 2022. Despite releasing out on April Fools’ Day, Nishitani stated that it isn’t a joke. Akira posted a video earlier this month showcasing how to utilize the new netcode system and how it would enhance the experience.
