Nintendo and Intelligent Systems gave us some more information about Fire Emblem Engage. We now know more about the weapons and the “Break” feature in battle. Every character in a game can use different kinds of weapons. Like in other Fire Emblem games, weapons can be good or bad against each other, so when attacking, it’s important to choose weapons that are good.

In Fire Emblem Engage, the “Break” feature happens when a player hits an enemy with a useful weapon. When “Break” is used on an enemy, it can’t attack again until the end of the next fight. One of the Twitter posts says that it’s important to win battles by thinking about how weapons work together.
Fire Emblem Engage will be available for Nintendo Switch around the world on January 20, 2023.
