Nintendo recently released updated sales data for several of their top titles on Nintendo Switch. Sales figures which revealed that Fire Emblem: Three Houses has become the best-selling game in the Fire Emblem series.
According to the data, Fire Emblem: Three Houses managed to move over 3.02 million units worldwide as of June 2020, surpassing the franchise’s previous best-selling title Fire Emblem Awakening, which sits at 2.94 million units sold worldwide.
Credit where credit is due
Of course, without Awakening’s initial work in bringing the series to a more global audience, it is likely Three Houses may not have achieved this success at all.
All Fire Emblem fans look forward to seeing how the franchise continues to grow and develop in the future.
