Recently, Nintendo had released a major patch fixing major system security flaws which allowed homebrew and piracy to occur through exploits.
The update had caused the entire homebrew and piracy communities to come to somewhat of a halt, until now.

The update was previously said to take at least a few weeks to hack, if even possible, due to Nintendo’s patch being very major, however now we know that the update has been hacked rather quickly.
Looks like Nintendo will have to find another work around to fight off the hacking and piracy scene once again. But at least compared to other Nintendo consoles Nintendo is now giving the hackers more of a challenge it seems.
Still it has always been a real cat and mouse game with Nintendo and the hackers. Why would Nintendo’s console always be the one that gets this kind of attention. Hmm I wonder why (hint awesome game library cough cough)
