Nintendo released a new firmware update for the Nintendo Switch system bringing the system software to Version 10.0.4.
The update doesn’t include any new user features, but instead it fixes a recent credit card issue on the eShop in certain unspecified countries.

- Fixed the following issue:
- We have fixed the issue where it was not possible in some countries or regions to add funds using a new credit card or to register credit card information in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch.
Nothing else is mentioned in the patch notes–shockingly, not even the standard line about stability improvements that are frequently the lone inclusion in new Switch updates. Hopefully your console was already sufficiently stable.
