The Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch OLED consoles have all received a new software update.
If your console is online, firmware update version 14.1.0 should now be available to download from the system settings menu. This time, the update includes new alerts for the Nintendo Switch Online Mission & Rewards function, which notify users when they have unclaimed Platinum Points from missions completed.

- “Platinum Point Notification Settings” has been added to System Settings’ Notifications section.
- Unclaimed Platinum Points gained from completing Nintendo Switch Online assignments will trigger alerts on your Nintendo Switch system.
- Some nations and territories might not have access to Nintendo Switch Online missions and prizes. See How to Complete a My Nintendo Mission for additional details.
- The notice received when there are unclaimed Platinum Points will be hidden if these alerts are turned off.
- Unclaimed Platinum Points gained from completing Nintendo Switch Online assignments will trigger alerts on your Nintendo Switch system.
