The Game Awards 2022 have come and gone and announced that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the winner of the Most Anticipated Game of the Year award.
It should come as no surprise that the sequel to Breath of the Wild was awarded first place, beating out other candidates such as Final Fantasy XVI, Starfield, and the remake of Resident Evil 4.

The most recent installment in the illustrious Legend of Zelda series will not only take you over the wide regions of Hyrule, but it will also transport you into the clouds! On May 12, 2023, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will be released on the Nintendo Switch. Players can look forward to the continuation of Link’s tremendous journey in this new installment.
The actual game is scheduled to be released on May 12 of the following year, 2023, so here’s hoping that it lives up to the anticipation.
