Devolver Digital has recently announced that a unique CatMechtroidvania game is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019.
Gato Roboto
The game is titled Gato Roboto and while it may seem odd it has a lovely black and white art-style that certainly looks interesting.
Gato Roboto is a cute low-fi metroidvania being developed by mysterious newcomers Doinksoft. It stars a precocious feline that somehow ends up driving a honking great suit of gun-toting power armour, instead of just wel doing what a cat normally would.
From the little bit of action shown in the trailer above, the cat’s native fuzzy frame seems to act as a stand-in for Samus’s rolling ball transformation.
Gato Roboto will be launching sometime next year.
