Rumors were swirling that there might be a possibility of Goku appearing in the latest Super Smash Bros title, Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Goku in Super Smash Bros Ultimate?
Let’s admit it would be downright awkward to have Goku in it, but the same could be said for various others.
However, those rumours have been shot down on Twitter as the English voice actor for Goku, Sean Schemmel, has confirmed to fans that he hasn’t been approached for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
I have not recorded nor have I been approached by anyone from Nintendo or otherwise to record for this game. I am equally perplexed.

But keep in mind, that doesn’t mean it is 100% not happening, we shall just have to wait and see.
From our point of view, Goku being a fighter where others are not by definition (ok Little Mac and Ryu might be exceptions) simply does not fit in the formula. But who knows … surprise us Nintendo!
