Nippon Ichi Software just put out a new trailer for GrimGrimoire. It shows the fourth and final type of magic in the game, which is called Alchemy. You can use it to call up slimes, golems, and chimeras, among other homunculi.
About GrimGrimoire OnceMore
GrimGrimoire OnceMore is a remake of the 2007 game GrimGrimoire. It is a 2D real-time strategy game. You play Lillet Blan, the main character, who is a young witch at a Magic Academy who gets stuck in a five-day time loop and has to find a way out.
In the following summary, you can find out more about the new parts of this remaster:
- “Great Magic,” a new system, has four types of “Great Magic” that can be used in battle. Cut-ins with new illustrations made it work.
- Graphics with a high resolution and a widescreen aspect ratio.
- You can “fast-forward” through battles and parts of the story.
- “Save in the Middle of a Battle” function for battle parts.
- The level of difficulty for “Hard” mode has been changed to make it harder than it was before.
- New System: Skill Tree: Do the tasks for each stage to earn coins. Coins can be used to make familiars stronger. You can also get your coins back.
- Gallery Mode: Look at different pictures.
- New voice cast: Lillet Blan (voiced by Iori Saeki)
- Margarita Surprise (voiced by Miharu Hanai)
- Gammel Dore’s voice is done by Miharu Hanai (voiced by Hiromichi Tezuka)
GrimGrimoire OnceMore comes out on Nintendo Switch in Japan on July 28, 2022, which is next week. A localization for the West has not been announced, but it may happen in the future since Vanillaware and Nippon Ichi Software have recently brought other Switch games to the West.
